Dr. Marilyn Ekladios has worked with children, youth, and families for more than twenty-five years. She earned the Doctor of Education Degree in Child and Youth Studies with Specialization in Special Services—Counseling Category, and Exceptional Education in 2000. Dr. Ekladios’ counseling and psychotherapy experience includes various counseling centers and settings, schools, addiction clinics, rape crisis and domestic violence hotline intervention, and as a speaker on various contemporary issues regarding youth and marriage and family counseling. She developed a comprehensive counseling program for parochial Schools that was implemented by South Florida schools and worked as a senior advisor and guidance counselor at a college preparatory high school and as a school and family counselor for a parochial school for grades preschool through eighth grade. She holds a Master of Science Degree in Family Therapy and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Applied Psychology with a Minor in Criminal Justice. Dr. Ekladios serves in the Coptic Orthodox Diocese of the Southern United States under the auspices of His Grace Bishop Youssef.
