My Beloved Family, Sisters & Brothers in Christ
May the knowledge and peace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
The Southern Diocese remains committed to equipping those called to the ministry of God’s children. Our Christian community continues to experience more and more issues (drug addiction, marital issues, etc.), and the Church sees the growing need for Christian servants to supplement the efforts of our clergy. The Family Ministry Program is designed to educate servants in the church to provide spiritual and psycho-social support to our community. It will also teach individuals to grow healthy families & friends. The purpose being to preserve, protect & heal the Christian family. This two year program will train our servants to help themselves, their families, their friends as well as their communities as trained Christian helpers
Remembering the words of St. Paul, “As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.” (1 Pet 4:10), I would like to encourage you to explore the benefits of this program.( See our mission Statement & courses etc) We can work together to use our gifts to help our brothers and sisters.
I must thank all those who worked to create this much needed program and the professors, counselors and all ancillary volunteers who continue to make this a success. May God continue to bless all those involved and bless the fruits of their labor.
