Dr. Ibrahim was ordained a priest in 2012. Prior to that, he received his medical degree from Cairo University and completed his residency training at Wake Forest University in Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine in Winston-Salem, NC. After obtaining an appointment as Assistant Professor at Wake Forest, he pursued a career in private practice in Christian Psychiatry for twenty years, and maintained a Clinical Associate Professor position at Wake Forest. He is Board certified in Psychiatry and Neurology. He is Board certified in Geriatric Psychiatry (1995-2005). He obtained the Sixth Annual Nancy C.A. Roeske, M.D., Certificate of Recognition for Excellence in Medical Student Education in May 1996. In August 2004, he obtained the Diploma in Theological Studies by the Coptic Orthodox Theological College in Sydney, Australia. Currently he devoted his life to serve the Lord.
